Introduction

The College of Westchester was founded in 1915 and has a rich history with a focus on career-relevant courses and programs. Located just outside New York City, the physical campus is nestled in the prestigious County of Westchester. Our degree-granting authority rests with the State of New York, a rigorous and impressive process exists to approve all programs. Further, we are accredited by the Middle States Commission on Higher Education and have been offering online degree programs since 2012. In 2015 we won the impressive award called: “Making a Difference for Students/Outstanding Impact” from Quality Matters (QM). Students always come first due to our small private environment. Student success is as important to us as it is to you. CW is a diverse college, with students from many nations and backgrounds. Programs are taught by caring faculty who get to know students by name. The College offers 10 online programs including associate and bachelor's degrees focusing on business, technology, human services, and health professions. Within our business programs, there is an emphasis on Digital Media and Marketing. Our Networking and Cyber Security program is approved by the Department of Homeland Security for Cybersecurity. Human services and health professions are sought-after programs due to the wide range of employment opportunities available to graduates.
