The Bachelor’s in Finance provides students with both the economic theory and the practical tools for financial analysis, accounting control, and asset allocation/valuation. Graduates from the Bachelor’s in Finance program are leading recruits for Kazakhstan’s banks, foreign corporations, and the Big Four accounting firms. At the same time, KBS is a thought leader in Kazakhstani financial education – classical theory and value under assumptions of efficiency are taught, but so too are their real-world limitations in an emerging market.

These include a strong theoretical foundation, modern modeling techniques, and decision analysis of business problems. The goal of the program:

Preparation of highly qualified, competitive specialists in the field of survey and exploration of minerals for mining and oil and gas companies engaged in mineral use at all stages of exploration and mining production research and design institutions, universities and state departments on rational use and protection of mineral resources that meet the requirements of today's market and international standards.

Kazakhstan Maritime Academy with Kazakh-British Technical University (Almaty) is offering placement for school graduates, both male and female for fully funded Maritime Education. Duration of study is four (4) years and on successful completion, graduates will get an academic bachelor’s degree in “Nautical Sciences” or “Marine Engineering Sciences” majors. Also, Professional Diploma (so-called Certificate of Competency for mariners) will be issued by the Ministry of Transport and Communication. With this professional diploma, one can sail as a professional mariner domestically and abroad. The seagoing practice of 12 months is an integral part of the four-year program. Education takes place both, in The Netherlands and Kazakhstan. Maritime professional subjects are taught by experienced Dutch teachers from the largest maritime educational center “STC-Group”, practical classes are held on Ships Bridge and Engine Room simulators produced by world leading simulator manufacturer “Konsberg Maritime” from Norway....
