Introduction
We work closely with the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM) and the Institute of Directors for networking, accessing events and exploring future career options.
Why study business management and marketing?
Marketing is crucial to any business and one of the most exciting sectors in a fast-paced global economy.
Studying both subjects gives you an understanding of organisations and their management, and the diverse ways marketing is used to demonstrate the quality and usefulness of products, brands and services.
These skills in combination lead to a diverse range of careers in both fields.
Why UWE Bristol?
The BA(Hons) in Business Management and Marketing provides a solid foundation in both business and marketing, allowing you to experience a range of business disciplines and choose your career path as you develop. This is the only degree programme in Bristol that unites business management with marketing.
You could specialise in global marketing, business innovation and growth, brand management, events and festivals management or digital marketing communication.
Analyse real business issues and learn about the market process, consumer behaviour, the lucrative business-to-business environment, traditional and digital marketing methods and global marketing.
Apply marketing theory to real businesses and develop crucial skills expected by employers.

Admissions
Scholarships and Funding
Your overall entitlement to funding is based on how long the course is that you're registered on. Standard funding is allocated based on the standard number of years that your course lasts, plus one additional year.
You'll apply for funding each year that you study and Student Finance will take into account how long the course is in each year that you apply. So if you register for the four-year course and then transfer to the three-year course, the number of years you can apply for funding will change. Student Finance will reassess your funding based on how many years you have been in study, not just those years for which you received student finance.
Always seek advice before taking any action that may have implications for your funding.
