      Admissions

      Take The Next Step: Easy Admission Process

      • Submit your application online or through the Common App and we will waive the fee.
      • Submit official transcripts from your high school.
      • USJ is fully test optional for all programs and scholarships.
      • Submit an essay, 250 words or more in length.
      • Have a teacher or high school counselor write a letter of recommendation and send it to the University.
      • Our Admissions team travels to meet prospective students.

      Visa Requirements

      Submit the following additional documentation for an I-20 to be issued:

      • A copy of your passport and current visa (if applicable).
      • Official certification of finances with supporting documentation showing funding for at least one academic year, including tuition and fees, living expenses, personal expenses, and textbooks.
      • Any documentation required for additional, dependent visas.

      Note: I-20 forms are issued to students after acceptance for full-time study and verification of sufficient funding. International students will not qualify for an F-1 student visa if they are pursuing an online program.

      Apply for an F-1 student visa

      USJ is permitted by the U.S. Immigration and Naturalization Service to admit non-immigrant students. Upon admission to a degree program, you will be issued an I-20, which is used to pursue an F-1 student visa through the American Embassy or Consulate in your home country. This visa must be current at all times.
