The curriculum of the degree in Food Science and Technology at UNEATLANTICO offers current and quality training in all professional fields in which the food technologist can operate, with special emphasis on matters related to food safety and its management , processing and innovation in the field of food design.
Technological advances and new scientific discoveries in the field of nutrition and food technology have generated a great demand for professionals trained in this branch of knowledge. The Faculty of Health Sciences has modern facilities that allow students to fully develop the practical skills of the food technologist. These facilities include a laboratory for Biochemistry and Physiology, one for Bromatology and Food Technology and, finally, another for Culinary Technology and Gastronomy.
