Διάρκεια προγράμματος
Οι φοιτητές πλήρους φοίτησης μπορούν να αποκτήσουν πτυχίο Bachelor σε 3 έως 4 χρόνια (9 τρίμηνα των 20 μονάδων το καθένα ή 12 τρίμηνα των 15 μονάδων το καθένα).
Οι φοιτητές μερικής φοίτησης μπορούν να αποκτήσουν πτυχίο Bachelor σε 6 ή περισσότερα χρόνια, ανάλογα με τον αριθμό των μαθημάτων που επιχειρούνται ανά τρίμηνο, την επιλογή μαθημάτων και τον προγραμματισμό του μαθήματος. η ολοκλήρωση του μισού του τυπικού αριθμού μαθημάτων ισούται με το διπλάσιο της διάρκειας του προγράμματος πλήρους απασχόλησης. Όσο πιο ευέλικτο είναι το ωράριο εργασίας, τόσο περισσότερα μαθήματα θα είναι διαθέσιμα για να τελειώσουν πιο γρήγορα. Οι μαθητές θεωρούνται μερικής απασχόλησης ενώ επιχειρούν 14 ή λιγότερες μονάδες ανά τρίμηνο. Οι σπουδές μερικής φοίτησης είναι διαθέσιμες μόνο για φοιτητές με εθνικό διαβατήριο ή άδεια παραμονής.

Οι μαθητές μπορούν να επιλέξουν μεταξύ πολλαπλών ημερομηνιών έναρξης το φθινόπωρο, το χειμώνα, την άνοιξη και το καλοκαίρι κάθε ακαδημαϊκού έτους. Ο σπονδυλωτός σχεδιασμός μαθημάτων και η δομή του προγράμματος μας επιτρέπει τον βέλτιστο σχεδιασμό περαιτέρω εκπαίδευσης.
Λόγω της ευέλικτης δομής και του αρθρωτού σχεδιασμού του προγράμματος, είναι διαθέσιμες πολλές ημερομηνίες έναρξης καθ' όλη τη διάρκεια του ακαδημαϊκού έτους, τον Οκτώβριο, τον Νοέμβριο, τον Ιανουάριο, τον Φεβρουάριο, τον Απρίλιο, τον Μάιο, τον Ιούλιο ή τον Αύγουστο. Όλες οι πανεπιστημιουπόλεις ακολουθούν το ίδιο ακαδημαϊκό ημερολόγιο.

Οι φοιτητές μπορούν να μεταφέρονται μεταξύ των πανεπιστημιουπόλεων σε τριμηνιαία βάση με εγγυημένη συμβατότητα προγράμματος. Το ακαδημαϊκό μας ημερολόγιο που βασίζεται σε τρίμηνα επιτρέπει μια συνεχή εμπειρία σπουδών στο εξωτερικό σε όλη την Ευρώπη και την Ασία.
Οι 9 παγκόσμιες τοποθεσίες μας στην πανεπιστημιούπολη βρίσκονται στο Άμστερνταμ, την Αμβέρσα, τη Βαρκελώνη, τις Βρυξέλλες, τη Γενεύη, τη Μαδρίτη, το Μιλάνο, το Τόκιο και τη Ζυρίχη.
Οι πανεπιστημιουπόλεις μας βρίσκονται όλες στο κέντρο της πόλης πολλών συναρπαστικών προορισμών. Οι φοιτητές ενθαρρύνονται να μεταφέρονται μεταξύ των πανεπιστημιουπόλεων για έναs with university training (analysis, design, evaluation...) while the PIOs (Equal Opportunities Promoter) (professionals with non-university training) focus their functions on the areas of animation, sensitization and development of activities of direct attention to the users. Likewise, there are other professional categories that directly need the training that we offer in our master's degree: IO Technicians (Equal Opportunities), IO Managers and IO Experts. The variety of topics and fields in which the intervention of these professionals is necessary justifies the need for theoretical and practical training such as that offered by MUEGYPI. The ones that we quote below would be functions to be developed by all these professionals:
- Detection of needs in terms of equal opportunities between women and men
- Programming, planning and carrying out projects related to equal opportunities between women and men.
- Monitoring and evaluation of the different interventions.
- Information, guidance and advice on equal opportunities between men and women
- Technical assistance in the application of the gender perspective in a transversal way.
- Preparation and issuance of gender impact reports.
- Coordination of professionals from different areas and departments related to equal opportunities.
- Proposal, design and preparation of studies in relation to equal opportunities.
- Planning of actions that favor the participation of women in all spheres of society.
- Creation of protocols and methods of action, before the use of sexist language, in all the manifestations of the different entities.
Goals
In line with article 10.1 of royal decree 1393/2007, October 29, which establishes that the Master's degree is aimed at acquiring advanced training, of a specialized or multidisciplinary nature, the MUEGYPI has as its fundamental objective the training of professionals that from different areas of knowledge in Humanities, Social Sciences and Health Sciences, can detect inequalities between women and men in social, economic and political life. Likewise, we offer practical tools to intervene in the achievement of a more egalitarian society.
The objectives of the MUEGYPI are:
- Train in the detection and analysis of the different ways in which social gender inequalities occur, and provide an information and evaluation system leading to diagnosing inequities, as well as proposing political interventions that lead to the achievement of real and effective equality. .
- Provide theoretical and practical knowledge that facilitates the application of gender mainstreaming in institutions and that serve the implementation of the principle of equal opportunities in public policies at different levels (international, state, regional and local) in relation to employment , education, work, social services, sexuality, health, cooperation and citizen participation.
- Train to recognize and incorporate the contributions of women to society and culture, as well as historically analyze the construction of knowledge, in order to detect its androcentric bias, and correct it in the sense of inclusiveness and visibility of women.
- Train in the design, application and evaluation of public and private equality policies.
- Provide analysis instruments that allow an applied dimension of gender analysis for social intervention.
- Provide keys, instruments and concepts that allow the implementation of measures and projects that make it possible to analyze and eradicate gender violence. Special mention requires the design of preventive policies in the educational field.
- Learn to design projects applied in the different areas of intervention that are studied.

The purpose of the MUEGYPI will be the acquisition by the student of the following general and specific competences:
General skills:
- CG1. Know the differential structuring according to the gender of social, political, economic, cultural and scientific life.
- CG2. Know the specific theoretical and methodological instruments to address gender inequalities in each subject.
- GC3. Apply gender analysis in new settings, within multidisciplinary contexts.
- GC4. Know the specific tools that help to develop practical application actions, such as diagnoses, equality plans and evaluation of equality plans. GC5. Advise people and organizations in the application of equality measures in the different aspects of social life.
- GC6. Possess the capacity for critical and reflective analysis in terms of equality between men and women.
- GC7. Apply the necessary knowledge to carry out work in multidisciplinary teams that facilitate a comprehensive and innovative approach to gender problems.
Specific skills:
- CE1. Know the contributions of women to the historical account using the theoretical apparatus of the latest historiographical trends.
- CE2. Know previous experiences in different formal and non-formal educational contexts that allow designing a set of good educational practices.
- CE3. Know the historical construction of gender identities in society and its impact on the present.
- CE4. Analyze contemporary epistemological debates, focusing on the progress made by feminist theories.
- CE5. Know the specific tools to effectively address the implementation of equality plans.
- CE6. Know the different aspects of the application of gender equality and violence laws.
- CE7. Analyze the different stages of the life cycle from a gender perspective.
- CE8. Analyze gender archetypes in the cultural imaginary from a non-androcentric perspective.
- CE9. Know the processes of multiculturalism and globalization by applying postcolonial studies and the approaches provided by Third Wave feminisms.
- CE10. Know the necessary gender indicators in the areas of social intervention.
- CE11. Identify the social aspects surrounding the phenomenon of gender violence.
- CE12. Find out about the progress made in terms of non-sexist use of language (use manuals and rules to apply).
- CE13. Know the mechanisms to assess the degree of application of gender equality and violence laws.
- CE14. Compare the knowledge acquired in the master's degree with praxis, enriching it with a constant feedback process between theoretical and practical reflection.
- CE15. Evaluate the progress in gender studies, by carrying out theoretical and/or applied work.
Guidance and tutoring
In accordance with the provisions of the Quality Council of the Faculty of Philosophy, a tutor will be assigned to students who have been admitted to the Master's, in order to guide them towards the specialty they are going to study, external internships and the Master's thesis. In addition, at least two annual follow-up meetings will be held with the students of the Master. On the other hand, Universidad de La Laguna has an Information and Guidance Service for undergraduate, postgraduate and Master's students.
external practices
The external practices, worth 18 credits, will be divided into two subjects, External Practices I and External Practices II. The set of external practices is organized around these two subjects, the first having a load of 12 ECTS credits, in which students will have to familiarize themselves with the variety of resources and activities that a specialist in the field must address on a daily basis. field of Equal Opportunities, it is, therefore, a more general activity. On the other hand, in the subject External Practices II, with a load of 6 ECTS credits, the students must delve into a specific field of application of equality policies.
The internship subjects are part of the compulsory common module and should be carried out preferably during the fourth semester, in one or more of the companies or institutions that have an agreement with the ULL.
There is also the possibility of doing an internship in Europe within the ErasmusB internship program. These internships will be carried out under the supervision of the Master's External Internship Tutoring Committee, who will assign a tutor as well as a person responsible for monitoring said internships in the chosen entity. At the end of the internship period, the entity will issue a report that will include the results obtained by the students.

Master's final project
The general objective of the Master's thesis will be for students to put into practice the knowledge acquired during the formative stage. In the specialty in Gender and Feminist Theories, special emphasis will be placed on students demonstrating mastery of the most recent theoretical trends related to the chosen subject. In the Gender and Equality Policies specialty, the work to be carried out must have an applied dimension.
The Master's thesis is compulsory and will be carried out throughout the fourth semester once the students have passed the teaching credits. The content of the TFM will adhere to the lines of research and work proposed in each of the specialties.
a) Master's Thesis specializing in Gender and Feminist Theories: within this specialty the lines of research revolve around the following subjects: Sociology, History, Anthropology, Philosophy, Psychology, Philosophy, Education and Economics. The teachers who teach these subjects will propose to the students a series of specific topics to carry out said master's thesis.
b) Master's Thesis specializing in Gender and Equality Policies Within this specialty, the lines of research and work revolve around the following subjects: Migration Policies, Cooperation and Development, Labor Markets, Gender Violence, Equality Policies, Education . The teachers who teach these subjects will propose to the students a series of specific topics to carry out said master's thesis.
The general objective of the Master's thesis will be for students to put into practice the knowledge acquired during the formative stage. In specialty A, special emphasis will be placed on students demonstrating mastery of the most recent theoretical trends related to the chosen subject. In specialty B it will be insisted that the work carried out by the students have an applied dimension.

Electives
Electives can be any course from any category. The choice of electives is limited however to those courses that are listed on the course planning for a specific quarter or term, and that are scheduled at a certain campus during that period. The scheduling of courses is based solely on the enrollment of students for certain programs. The more different programs students enroll in, the more different courses, and thus electives, will be available. Should all students have enrolled in the same program, a limited number of courses can be scheduled based on the preferences of enrolled students and the availability of professors.

Upon successful completion of the study program students receive an international private Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree awarded by the school's HQ in Switzerland, based on the recommendation of the faculty of the local campuses where credits were earned.
