The Department of Food Science aims to train future leaders in the food industry. The curriculum integrates different professional fields, including chemistry, microbiology, biology, biochemistry, and processes. The Department is also equipped with laboratories for our students to experience the cutting-edge technologies and experiment with their ideas. We also encourage our students to pass the national certification exams and become qualified food technicians. With professional knowledge, our students can excel in food processing, manufacturing, analysis, testing, production, and management tasks easily. Our students are also capable of working in domestic and foreign research institutes and conduct research on food, chemistry, nutrition, biotechnology, or other related fields.
