Introduction
Journalism professionals work in print, radio, television and online media, in press and communication offices, consultancies, higher education and research centers. The journalist is not limited to just informing and interpreting, but must pave the way that structures social development. Its main mission is to support democracy in a passionate way, and it is up to it to build the scenario in which society is able to form its opinion and continue to deposit credibility in it, as the “staff of our freedoms”. The Journalism course at Unasp offers practical training, with editing laboratories, video and photography studios, a radio station and journalistic and infotainment agencies. All of this makes students experience the reality of the job market while still in college. In the last National Student Performance Examination (Enade), our journalists achieved a score of 4 (out of 5). Those who graduate from Unasp are already in the spotlight.
