Introduction
Master the art and science of professional marketing that drives the success of every business and brand.
This focused degree equips you with the technical skills and knowledge of a marketing professional. You'll be trained to use them in real-world situations so that you are ready to make an immediate impact in your career.
You will study a course designed and delivered with the active participation of the industry. You will learn academic theory in depth, and apply it to the real world.
This translates into a valuable year-long work placement; modules enriched with live case studies and consultancy projects; and skills training designed to meet the latest marketing trends.
Through a flexible mix of core and optional modules, you will cover key topics such as strategic marketing, digital business, and consumer behaviour.

Study abroad

Work placement
Get career ready with work placement and leave as a confident professional in your field. You can apply to spend 9 to 12 months working in any organisation in the world, and receive University support from our dedicated team to secure your dream placement. Work placements take place between stages 2 and 3.
You'll gain first-hand experience of working in the sector, putting your learning into practice and developing your professional expertise.
If you choose to take a work placement, it will extend your degree by a year, and your degree title will show you have achieved the placement year. A work placement is not available if you're spending a year studying abroad. Placements are subject to availability.
Curriculum
Stage 1
You will take a series of core modules designed to give you a thorough grounding in the interlinked principles of marketing, marketing channels, business management and growth.
You will also receive practical training in the use of quantitative data analysis techniques.

You will choose to produce a marketing dissertation based on your own original research, or work on a consultancy project for a real-world client.
