Introduction
To administer is to plan, organize, direct and control, making decisions about available and necessary resources for the management of an organization, taking into account information from professionals, teams, the economic, political and social scenario of its region, country and the world.
When planning, organizing, directing and controlling, the administrator must be prepared to:
- Setting goals and objectives;
- Analyse, understand and solve problems
- Organize and allocate resources, both financial, technological and human;
- Leading, communicating, directing and motivating people;
- Negotiate;
- Make decisions;
- Controlling, measuring and evaluating.
Good management performance depends on the professional being able to be a good leader, capable of dealing with people, negotiating and communicating, and also able to make decisions, having a systemic and global view of the situation he manages.
The profession of administrator is historically recent and was regulated in Brazil on September 9, 1965, the date on which Administrator's Day is celebrated.
The Unimes course was conceived in 1969, recognized in 1971, and currently has the best regional concept in the National Student Performance Examination – ENADE, by the Ministry of Education, ranking among the best courses in the country.
