Introduction
The objective of the Degree in Marine Sciences is the scientific and practical preparation of professionals in relation to the marine and coastal environment, providing graduates with multidisciplinary and multidisciplinary training applicable to fishing activities, aquaculture, oceanography, the environment and its protection, coastal management and planning, sustainable tourism, new food resources, minerals of industrial interest and renewable energy.
Ideal Students
The previous knowledge recommended for students who want to study Marine Sciences is the Baccalaureate of Sciences, in which the four basic scientific disciplines are taught: Biology, Geology, Physics - Chemistry and Mathematics, as well as learning abilities, entrepreneurial character and a level, at least, of initiation in basic research.
