Introduction
It aims to train professionals in the chemical industry sector. In this sector, which in Spain represents the fourth largest industrial sector (approx. 10%), professionals carry out research, development, design, engineering and process control tasks in various fields (timber companies, petrochemicals, steel, food, pharmaceutical, cosmetic industry etc.).
Ideal Students
Although the Faculty of Chemistry has not defined an ideal profile for access to the degree, it is highly recommended to have taken the subjects of Chemistry, Physics and Mathematics in the second year of Baccalaureate (it is not always possible since they are not compatible in all secondary schools )
Furthermore, it is advisable to enter the degree with the capacity for abstraction and scientific reasoning, along with the capacity for continuous work to be able to progress adequately in the acquisition of knowledge and skills.
