Earning a bachelor's degree is achieved by completing the necessary course of study offered by the college or university you enroll in. Completing this study may take three to seven years depending on where you seek your degree.

Area studies typically examine the development of a particular population or region. While other, similar interdisciplinary studies, such as gender, disability, and ethnic, may have some part in course discussions, these are not considered area studies.

Like many other EU countries, Poland offers inexpensive or even free tuition to EU students. Prospective students should apply directly to their chosen Polish institution. The University of Warsaw, for example, charges between £1,300 and £2,500 per year for its English language courses.

Wrocław is considered as the third largest center of education in Poland. In thirty well known institutions, there are more than 135,000 students. The Wrocław University of the city offers healthy academic environment to local and overseas students.

The undergraduate program aims at equipping students with both theoretical knowledge about the past and origins of European cultures and conceptual tools to analyze cultural phenomena of nowadays societies. Flexibly organized set of courses (only a few are obligatory, most of them elective by students) may present in the synthetic picture of the cultural diversity of the Continent. Students will learn consequences caused by cultural phenomena for past and contemporary social life in Europe. Consequences, which were and are visible in various spheres of life: starting with everyday life, through economy, psychological background of social movements, up to political and administrative systems. Lectures focus on universal laws and manifestations of the cultural life of human societies but with a clear emphasis on specific elements of the European past and present-day situation. Our students will have a unique opportunity to attend the interdisciplinary course, consisted of lectures and seminars on ancient archaeology, cultural studies, history of art, history of Poland and Europe, social psychology, cultural and classical pedagogy, and others. After completing studies students can be able to translate different cultural codes of communications, organize cooperation between members of societies of different European cultures and promote understanding of cultural differentiation in social life as the only way to peaceful development in nowadays world. -
