Our architecture program aims to provide students with the skills and expertise needed to apply creative and responsible architectural solutions. The program helps students to understand their role and responsibility as architects in a specific physical and cultural context, whether local or international. -

Faculty: Architecture Degree to be obtained:Bachelor (Engineer, Architect) Duration: 4 years (8 semesters) Language: English ECTS points: 240 Program description The curriculum is designed for people wishing to study architecture. It has been developed to educate future architects both in technical knowledge and to develop their awareness within esthetic and human-oriented values. It allows the students to develop the skills related to shaping urbanized areas both as to elements of little architecture, public utility facilities, and multi-spatial urban projects. The courses within the study curriculum are based on the knowledge in the disciplines originating from technical sciences: architecture, urbanism, construction, and arts or history of art. The main purpose of education is to prepare the graduates – engineers architects for their professional career and for deliberate and competent participation in shaping the areas that constitute the living space of individuals and groups. -

The Programme in Architecture offers a Bachelor’s Degree after four years of full-time studies and the Diploma in Architecture after five years of full-time studies. -

The first degree (undergraduate) English-taught programme in Architecture comprises 8 semesters and follows the newest architectural education standards. It has earned - as the only one in Poland - two international accreditations: the Royal Institute of British Architects and the European Union Notification. -

Take your first step to becoming a registered architect on our BA (Hons) Architecture degree course – accredited by the Architects Registration Board (ARB) and the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA). You’ll join a distinctive learning environment, with access to cutting-edge facilities, working on stimulating and client-driven design projects. You’ll master key design skills, from the scale of the body's interactions with materials and constructions to the domains of cities and landscapes, engaging in social, cultural, political, aesthetic and environmental challenges of the world we're part of. -

Sustainable spaces and cities By 2030, 60% of the world’s population will be living in cities, setting a challenge for architects: to create spaces and buildings that will enhance the quality of life with functional, comfortable, aesthetic, and sustainable proposals. As an architect, you will be able to work in multidisciplinary teams seeking to transform human habitat; participate in initiatives and projects aimed at enabling spaces that will contribute to social and economic development. The three stages of the model 1. Exploration You will open your competency file and add to it throughout your degree program. You will learn the foundations of the area of the Built Environment. You will participate in fundamental and exploration challenges from the area of Built Environment, interacting with peers from different degree programs. You will study general education courses, selecting them from a collection. You will participate in a challenge that integrates all the competencies to be developed in this phase. 2. Focus You will acquire the core competencies of your degree, in other words, those that distinguish it. You will participate in more focused challenges to reinforce what you have learned and broaden your basic knowledge. You will have the elements to decide whether to deepen your knowledge or diversify and, subsequently, build your specialization plan. The Tec Weeks, challenges, and overall university experiences will enrich your file. 3. Specialization You have decided between diversifying or focusing deeply on your major, which you will achieve by choosing a concentration or a stay, to name a few of your options. The TEC Semester is a flexible time to start. You will develop the competencies related to your specialization, increasingly connected to your passions, interests, and plans. By passing a concentration, you will develop your competencies, and, on graduating, will be a candidate for obtaining a Diploma in that concentration, after meeting the established requirements. How can you specialize? Concentrations Specialize in one of the different concentrations available at the campus of your choice, according to the profile you would like to develop. Internships Internships allow you to participate in the development of specific projects with companies, organizations, or research groups, in a context of total immersion related to a specialty field. They can be carried out locally, nationally or internationally. International experiences Experience life outside Mexico to broaden your horizons and delve into the topics of your interest. Courses or blocks Choose the education units that best adapt to your objectives, enabling you to specialize in your specific interests.
