Architecture is primarily a discipline of architectural design. Architectural students are able to solve complex design problems in architectural design, building environment and energy consumption, building technology and structure, and coordinating indoor and outdoor environmental needs that meet the needs of human indoor activities. The architect is the only person trained in all aspects of architecture.

Our programme therefore places a strong emphasis on understanding the dynamics of cities and systems of cities; and the way public policy, urban management and design interventions interact positively and negatively with the spontaneous social and economic processes that make up city life. We place importance on research, applied statistical analysis, observation and communication, and introduce you to theories and methods, design thinking and design skills during the four years of study.

The Bachelor of Arts in Architectural Studies [BA(AS)] offers an internationally competitive professional curriculum in the discipline of architecture, in all of its environmental, social, technical, and cultural dimensions. The Bachelor of Architecture is a 5-year terminal degree program, that will enable you to fulfill local professional registration while matching the licensing requirements of international associations of architecture. The program provides students with a thorough understanding of the functional areas of architecture, including the design tools, methodologies, and philosophies associated with decision-making and effective presentation processes.

The composition of the proposed curriculum of architecture agrees with National Architectural Accreditation Board [NAAB] curricular requirements, which specifies that a minimum of 20 per cent of the total credits required for the completion of the program must be satisfied by courses in liberal studies

Interest in interior architecture has grown rapidly in recent years. New materials, technologies and techniques are giving interior architects exciting new ways to explore the way spaces can be reformed or re-imagined for new of different forms of inhabitation.

Human Geography and Urban-Rural Planning Major: This major was established in 2012, formerly known as "Resources Environment and Urban-Rural Planning Management", and was renamed in 2013. The Graduate School of Architecture has five divisions in the master’s degree program, and four divisions in the doctoral degree program. Architects have always striven to create architectural designs realizing the connection between society, nature, and living spaces. Our courses are designed to provide students with both professional architectural skills and a strong sense of creativity. In order to obtain a master’s degree in the subject, students have the option of writing a thesis or creating and presenting an architectural design.

This curriculum, based on environmental studies, enables you to acquire skills to design and construct structures and landscapes that are friendly to human beings and the natural environments.
