Introduction
Graduates from the Baccalaureate in Social Sciences must:
have acquired adequate methodological, cultural, and professional knowledge, through organic and interdisciplinary training in the main social disciplines: economic, historical, political, sociological, psychological, social communications, legal and international relations;
knowing how to integrate the specific dimensions of the social sciences with the study of ethics and the social doctrine of the Church, for a Christian vision of the person and his insertion into society;
possess an adequate command of the methodological tools for scientific research in the social field, in particular, the methodologies and techniques of political, sociological, statistical, economic, and quantitative empirical research;
be capable of analyzing, comparing, and interpreting the complex international, public and private social realities and problems of modern societies, according to operations in the field of work, pastoral care, peace, and justice, as well as to plan and implement complex operational strategies for the common good;
be able to communicate effectively, in written and oral form, in Italian and English.
