Sweden (Sverige) is the largest of the Nordic countries, with a population of about 9.5 million. It borders Norway and Finland and is connected to Denmark via the bridge of Öresund (Öresundsbron). Sweden has a strong tradition of being an open, yet discreet country.

You will use concepts and theories from the social sciences to study the development of different economies and understand them in their social, political and cultural contexts. You will also examine important global issues, for example, mechanisms driving economic growth and development over time. Semester five gives you plenty of options regarding your course selection. You can study in Sweden, or study abroad as an exchange student. Alternatively, you could do an internship to gain practical skills and to prepare you for your future career. -
