BA Programs in Ancient History

Learning about past cultures and their influences on modern day civilizations is typically the focus of an ancient history program. Courses in a program may include Greek political structure, Roman texts, Latin language studies and religious beliefs.

Europe is, by convention, one of the world's seven continents. Comprising the western most point of Eurasia, Europe is usually divided from Asia by the watershed divides of the Ural and Caucasus Mountains, the Ural River, the Caspian and Black Seas, and the waterways connecting the Black and Aegean Seas.

A BA (Bachelor of Arts) is an undergraduate degree that prepares students for a career in their chosen field of study. Depending on the school and program, a BA can usually be earned in three to five years.
